CF Carvalheiro is mourning the death of Hugo Fernandes, a cyclist who represented the club.
“It was with regret and dismay that we received the news of the passing of Hugo Fernandes, whose dedication to CF Carvalheiro and cycling will never be forgotten, during the time he represented our institution”, wrote the club on social media.
“To the bereaved family, but in a special way to Ivo Fernandes, Hugo’s father – and former cycling coach of our club, the Management of #CFCarvalheiro , athletes, technicians and other collaborators extend their deepest condolences”, ends the note .
