French Navy ship makes two stops in the Region

The French Navy ship ‘Beautemps-Beaupré’ will make two stops at the Port of Funchal, on the 5th and 8th of July, at 9:00 am and 10:00 am, respectively.

“This is a routine stopover and crew rest, with official greetings to regional entities by the ship’s captain, the Defense Attaché at the French Embassy in Lisbon and the undersigned on the morning of the 5th, an official lunch on board and a flower-laying ceremony also on the 5th at 3:30 pm, at the São Martinho cemetery, at the monument in homage to the Portuguese and French”, informs Eduardo Bonal da Silva, honorary consul of France.
