A foreign woman in her 50s suffered a fall today on the rocks at Achadas da Cruz.
The tourist, of French nationality, had a suspected fracture in her leg, which is why the Volunteer Firefighters of São Vicente and Porto Moniz were mobilized to the scene, who stabilized the victim.
However, due to the terrain’s orography, the Regional Civil Protection Service helicopter was called to rescue the tourist.
