Bungee jumping in Calheta will close

This is bad news for lovers of extreme sports, in particular bungee jumping: The enterprise that provided this experience at Praia da Calheta and which attracted dozens of curious people is going to close.

The complaint began by being made to JM by João Afonso, a fan of this jump of around 40 meters, which he did once or twice a month, such was his passion.

However, contacted by JM, Carlos Dionísio, owner of the company ‘Bungy Portugal’ that operated this attraction, confirmed the cessation of this activity in that location, revealing, however, that he did not know why it had to close its doors. This is because, as he revealed, in recent times, his enterprise has been the target of pressure and unknown complaints on several occasions, which forced the 53-year-old manager to take this decision. The crane should be dismantled this week.
