Traffic was blocked late yesterday afternoon on Rua do Pavilhão, next to the Escola Básica do 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Caniço. All because of the stubbornness of two drivers, who refused to reverse.
According to a witness, due to the large flow of cars parked next to the sidewalk, the road was left with only one lane to travel, and these two drivers met head-on. Now, as they both thought that the other should reverse, they got out of the vehicles and did not move the cars away, thus waiting for the arrival of the Public Security Police to see who had the upper hand. Meanwhile, the queues of cars grew longer and longer, with several motorists complaining about the situation.
Upon arrival, PSP agents listened to both parties and ended up charging the driver who had his lane blocked and refused to reverse.
Glad the driver who didn’t have right of way, ended up with a fine, maybe he should take a few refresher lessons as well.
