easyJet will start operating the Funchal-Amsterdam route from November 5th, the airline announced today, which will be operated twice a week, throughout the year.
The company today put a set of new routes on sale for the 2024/2025 winter season.
“The big highlight from Portugal is the new route between Funchal and Amsterdam, which will take off from November 5, 2024, for the first time”, he said today in a statement.
easyJet already had 12 international connections departing from Cristiano Ronaldo airport, in Funchal.
“The direct connection from Funchal to Amsterdam is very important to diversify the offer of destinations for Madeirans and beyond. We also want to make it easier for tourists from other parts of Europe to enter the island. The beauty of Madeira cannot be forgotten”, stated, quoted in the same note, the general director of easyJet Portugal, José Lopes.
