The bus consumed by flames this afternoon caused a great scare not only for passengers but also for everyone who noticed the fire that began to break out in the rear of the heavy vehicle.
The initial stage of ignition was captured while the bus was underway, although the fire was already intense. Shortly afterwards, the driver parked and ordered all passengers to leave, suffering some physical injuries when he tried to put out the flames using a fire extinguisher. But he was unsuccessful. And only the intervention of firefighters prevented the fire from causing further damage to Casa Branca Street, a residential area.
