Weather conditions cause four aircraft to divert

Not what I want to see when I’m going on holiday tomorrow.

The weather conditions in the area of Madeira Airport caused four aircraft to divert this afternoon.

According to the ANA Aeroportos website, the first plane to diverge concerns that of the airline easyJet, coming from Porto, which returned to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport. Shortly afterwards, the Transavia plane, from Paris, after going ‘around’, diverted towards Porto Santo.

At this moment, the EW Discover aircraft, from Frankfurt, is also heading to Ilha Dourada.

Finally, and so far, Wizzair Hungary flight W6 1535 had to land at La Palma airport.

Not saying the reason but it could be the wind along with poor visibility,  as we had light rain earlier in Caniço de Baixo,  and the visibility was terrible.
